You were told
you're "good to go."
But you're not
going anywhere.

You finished physical therapy. You did the exercises on the sheet. You rested. You tried to ease back in. And somewhere along the way you stopped hiking, lifting, playing with your kids, or traveling — not because a doctor told you to stop, but because you're scared of flaring something up again.

Then the fitness industry told you to push harder. Work through it. No pain, no gain. And that didn't work either — because your body doesn't need more pressure. It needs a plan that actually makes sense for where you are right now.

You're not injured enough for more PT. You're not confident enough to just jump into a gym program. You're stuck in the middle. And you're tired of starting over.

Healing Meets Hustle exists for exactly this. I combine strength training, mobility, corrective exercise, and habit coaching into one plan — so you can stop living around your pain and start trusting your body again.

Lives to reach

What it looks like
to stop living
around your pain.

The goal isn't to get back to who you were before. It's to build a body and a life you actually trust — one that lets you do the things that matter without fear running the show.

Right now You say no to hikes, travel, and playing with your kids because you're afraid of making things worse. After working together You show up to the things you love — not bracing for it, not paying for it later. Just living.
Right now Exercise feels like a gamble. You never know if today is the day you're going to flare something up. After working together You move with confidence. You understand your body well enough to push, back off, and come back — on your own.
Right now You keep starting over. Every new approach feels like it was built for someone else's body. After working together You have a plan that was actually built for you — and the tools to keep going long after we're done.

No punishment.
No "push through it."
Just a plan that
meets you where you are.

I combine strength training, mobility work, corrective exercise, and habit coaching into one simple approach. Not extreme. Not cookie-cutter. Built around the body in front of us — and the real life around it.

01

I start where you actually are

Not where a program assumes you should be. Your first session is a full movement assessment — I look at what's compensating, what's been underused, and where to build from. Then I build from there.

02

I build strength without beating you up

Corrective exercise, functional strength, and mobility work layered together in a way that progresses without pushing past what your body is ready for. More isn't always better. Consistency beats intensity every time.

03

I build it to work in real life

Not a perfect schedule. Not ideal conditions. A plan that fits the life you actually have — so when things get busy, when you miss a week, when life happens — you know exactly how to come back.

Healing Meets Hustle provides intelligent, individualized strength training and corrective exercise for active adults with chronic pain who have finished physical therapy but still don't feel like themselves — and are tired of being told to either rest more or push harder.

Because Ellie has lived in that gap herself. She rebuilt her body from two fractured vertebrae without a roadmap, built the approach she couldn't find when she needed it most, and has spent years helping others do the same.

Active adult with chronic back & neck pain · New Brighton
"When I first started working with Ellie, I had very little strength or mobility. I would throw out my back or my neck doing the smallest of movements. Ellie met me where I was at. She taught me how to build strength with intention, safety, and kindness to my body. She goes above and beyond."
— M.F.
Client who completed PT and needed a path forward · Minneapolis
"Ellie was the first person — not even my physical therapist could do this — to help me find and re-engage the muscles that had stopped firing from years of pain and compensating around it. She meets you where you actually are."
— L.S.
Tradesperson managing chronic hip & back pain · Roseville
"Ellie worked with both me and my wife to create individualized programs, along with exercises we could do together. She worked around my job in the trades, showing me things I can do before and after work to keep the discomfort manageable. Highly recommend."
— C.C.
Active adult who tried traditional fitness first · Twin Cities
"For the first time, I have a routine that makes sense for my body and actually fits my schedule. Ellie was the first trainer who asked why — and then built something around the answer. Exercise finally doesn't feel like punishment."
— R.M.

My goal isn't to make
you dependent on me.

It's to help you trust yourself again. To teach you how to move without fear. To show you that strength and healing don't have to be separate — and to help you build a body that supports the life you want to live.
